Given the annual greenness that occurs on the 17th of March, I wanted to share this beautiful video (spoiler alert: homesickness will occur) with you.

It's a promotion video from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Fáilte Ireland for this year's St. Patrick's Day.

"This video is our animated postcard to the world", says John Concannon, Director of Market Development for Fáilte Ireland. And he's right. It's an updated, post-crisis version of the sentimental picture of Ireland people still seem to believe in. They do have the latest technology as well as companies etc!

And last but not least the wonderful James Vincent McMorrow singing "Higher Love".
